Today represents the most important commemoration in the Christian religion- it is the day when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The belief that Christ died on the cross for our sins, and then three days later, rose from the dead is the foundation of Christianity. It is what sets Christianity apart from other religions. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Christ purchased for all who believe in Him, eternal life! Anyone who accepts Jesus into their heart and believes that He rose from the dead is spiritually resurrected with Jesus so that they may have new life, both on earth and in heaven.
So, today, we rejoice in the fact that we worship The Risen Savior!
